Eckerd is a national nonprofit organization that provides a full continuum of life-changing behavioral health and child welfare services to around 11,000 children and families annually.



This video was created for their annual fundraising event, and was later shortened into a :30 PSA for television.

Internal Patient Transport Services has a single focus: the skilled, compassionate and efficient movement of patients within hospitals. Because this is a start-up company in the healthcare arena, it was very important that every aspect of their branding communicate professionalism and competency. A complete branding program was created and executed, including the website, sales materials, and corporate identity.

An internal positioning study led to the development of a branding platform centered around the idea of “involvement.” The platform summarizes Shumaker’s commitment to understanding their clients’ businesses and industries, caring about outcomes as well as costs, and giving back to the community.

2009 Silver Pollie Political Advertising Award

The scenario: Chuck Norris is running for the U.S. Senate from Texas. 

The campaign utilizes the WPA Texas Post Office Mural style (which was originally inspired by Hispanic artists) to celebrate Texan and Hispanic culture and give a distinct visual style to the campaign.

The challenge was to create a teen pregnancy prevention campaign for the Georgia Department of Health that would engage teenagers and be appropriate for public spaces such as schools and libraries.

We met with several focus groups of teens from the local high schools to talk about their perceptions of teen pregnancy and what they would like to see in a campaign.

The posters and billboards were well received, and were used throughout the state for Teen Pregnancy Prevention Month in May 2008.
